7) What do you think this play reveals about our need for freedom?About courage and hope? About good and evil?

this play helped me to understand how freedom is important to our life. it shows how it is difficult to live without freedom and hide in secret Annex.
I think if they didn't have courage and hope they can't live in the Annex because if they didn;t have them they will give up very quickly and maybe they will leave the Annex.

6) Why are there so many books, movies, documentaries, etc. about the Holocaust? Why do we keep retelling this story?

there many books, movies, documentaries, etc. about the Holocaust because to tell people that during the holocaust there were many peope in Jewish punished by German and lived very sadly everyday. I think we keep retelling this story because to make people don't forget about how the Jewish people were lived and how they were treated by German during the Holocaust.

Act I, Scenes 4, 5: How do the events following Anne’s nightmare reveal tensions between Anne and two other members of the household?

Anne's nightmare reveal that Mr. Dussel and Anne's personality is different . when I read scenes 4 and 5, I could know that he was mad when she was screaming in the slient. he didn't understand about Anne and he went to W.C for peace and quiet.

Act I, Scenes 1-3: Do Anne and Peter seem to have typical teenage attitudes toward their families? Go back to the text for examples to support your response.

I think Peter seem to have typical teenage attitudes. Peter wanted to stay alone and doesn't want to talk but Anne always bother him and want to talk to him. I think these kind of action shows Anne's attitude. Most of teenagers they want to talk and share the things with people or friends. I think Anne is a teenager girl when she talk with Peter.

Act 1: "But always remember this, Anneke. There are no walls, there are no bolts, no locks that anyone can put on your Mind".
I agree with this statement and I think this statement means that no one can block her dreams , her goals, or her skills even though she is Jewish.

List the conflicts that have developed among the characters by the end of Scene 3.

Conflict between Anne and her mother.Mrs. Frank always compare with Margot, when Anne did something wrong she always said to Anne 'do like Margot'. you can see the conflict between them on pg 388. Anne spilled the milk accidently on Mrs. Van's fur coat and it made Mrs. Van angry. when Mrs. Van say somehing Anne answering back. After these things happened Mrs. Frank became upset about Anne and she started to compare with Margot like before, Anne became very angry about her mother is comparing with margot then she ran in to her room.

Act 1, Scenes 1-3: what do you think would be the hardest part of life in the Secret Annex?

I thinks the hardest time in the secret Annex is when it is 8 o'clock(pm) because you can't turn the light on, you can't move, you can't go to the bathroom, you can't make noises and you can't do anything. I think it would be difficult to live in the Secret Annex.
